Today is a SAD day.
As a European, living in London, I can’t ignore that I feel hurt and disappointed that today, the 31st of January 2020, means we are out of EU.
It’s hard to accept this is happening under our watch, and what a shame it will be to tell my children and grandchildren this happened during my generation. Embarrassed behind words.
But time will tell and show that a lot of us were on the right side of History. But that’s not good enough for me.
What will I do? I am not sure yet… but one thing I can promise, I will continue my quest to live in a global village. Border and countries are invisible lines that bring mostly inequality and unfairness. And I will keep imagining a world where they no longer matter.. as John Lennon requested.
