It’s 15th of December and we are pretty much 2 weeks away to finish 2018.
What comes to your mind?
Transition?
New begging???
Well, as the New Year is just down the corner, I always find it exciting as there’s always a sort of a promise of a new start with wonderful things to come.
If you are one of those people, that love to sit down on Sunday evenings to prepare yourself for the week, then you might likely be the sort of person that also sits down to prepare for the new year a couple of weeks before it starts, so basically, is now time to truly prepare yourself to create a desired future worthy of your energy and time.
For those that don’t do it, I would like to challenge you to try it this year. I have been doing it since forever and I find it extremely helpful.
Every December, I take time to reflect: from feeling a sense of completion, awareness of accomplishment to failure feeling as realize I am still far from certain goals. This process enables me to make empowering resolutions and goal setting for the New Year to come and that never fails to make me feel excited and inspired.
I usually start focusing on what’s to come – all the new habits I am going to create, I revisit my goals and update those I haven’t achieved (even tho this is something I usually look at on a monthly basis and sometimes even weekly) and of course, all the travels I want to do in the new year.
In a way, it feels like every year I am given a chance to pursue a foreigner, yet familiar land, basically a territory we have the option to seize and make our own.
And this year I have decided to share with you some tips on the best ways to prepare for the New Year.
I will be focusing mainly on 3 main points:
- How to Reflect: Mistakes were made. Victories were made. Lessons were learned. And now is time for you to reflect!
- How to Repent: The New Year is a time to recognize our shortcomings and acknowledge our own accountability in the parts of our experience that leave us unsatisfied.
- How to Renew: This is the time to make commitments you will keep. Be the person you truly wish to be and let this be the year you begin that journey.
And then we will have a long session of Q&A where you can ask anything about the best ways to prepare for the New Year and how to start 2019 the best way possible.
So, I would like to invite you to join me this Tuesday, live, at 7pm (UK time) for a chat (completely free of charge)
Feel free to share it with friends or familiars that could benefit from some inspiration to get the new year started with a fresh mindset and a positive outlook.
Much Love,
Emma
